Strong spectral signatures from typical protonated solvents in liquid formulations present challenges for the quantification of analytes by NMR.
In USP qNMR Workshop, held November 17–19, 2020, Dr. Federico Casanova presented how solvent suppression techniques can help you achieve the required accuracy in these samples.
The presentation describes the implementation and use of qNMR with solvent suppression on the Spinsolve ULTRA. Case studies were presented for the quantification of components in excipient mixtures down to milli-molar concentrations and online-quantification of a glucose fermentation using yeast.
